2nd Annual Celebrate Joan Walk was a fabulous success!
On Saturday, November 24, 2007, about 200 people braved the chilly weather to come out and do two laps around Trexler Park and Celebrate Joan. We were so pleased to see many familiar faces from last year's walk, and quite a few new ones as well. Overall, we raised about $2,200, which will go to support VISTA (via the Joan Zamborsky Memorial Trust Fund) and the Cathedral of Saint Catharine.
We also got some nice coverage before and during the walk on the CBS evening and morning news, and in the Morning Call.

Sorry I couldn't get down to PA for the walk. Fortunately, a few friends and I were able to get out and celebrate Joan with some skijoring! I hope the event went well! I attached some pictures of our celebrate Joan event.

Greetings from sunny San Diego! We couldn't be with you for the walk today but we hiked 5 miles today to a waterfall in Los Penasquitos Canyon in memory of Aunt Joanie. We love her and we miss her, and we miss you guys too! Hopefully we will see each other soon!
